FRENCH as a Foreign Language

Meet interesting locals and get to know Lodève’s cultural highlights:

An alternative approach to learning a language

This summer, from 9 July to 2 August 2013, the language club “Langues et Cultures de Lodève” will be offering special three hour conversation classes combined with cultural activities of your choice.

Students will get to experience the local flora with organised countryside walks, visit the Museum of Lodève and its renowned Cubist art exhibition (this includes a personalised guided tour), meet with local artisans and artists, as well as local farmers who can talk you through the complexities of olive growing and olive oil production, etc. – see detailed programme on website!

In addition, if you would like to learn more about the Harki story (an intrinsic part of Lodève’s cultural identity) then the language club has also arranged for you to meet with some interesting individuals and hear first-hand how they came to live and work in Lodève.

Students can choose from an extensive list of cultural activities carefully drawn up by experienced teachers Clémence and Isabelle. Students choose (at least) four options each and Clémence and Isabelle will carefully prepare each visit to suit your specific language needs including a language session plus a recap at the end of each visit.

Students can make their choices at very short notice since registrations will be accepted until the day before each cultural activity. No more than eight participants per group are allowed and a minimum of five participants is required for each visit.

Book early to avoid disappointment. Email registrations will be acknowledged immediately, just complete the following form and send to: lodeve@bo-m.eu
